지금의 당신
WHO YOU ARE NOW
보라, 아버지께서 어떠한 사랑을 우리에게 베푸사 우리가 하나님의 아들들이라 불리게 하셨는가. 그런즉 세상이 우리를 알지 못함은 세상이 그분을 알지 못하였기 때문이라 (요한일서 3:1).
우리의 시작하는 구절에 있는 “아들들”이라는 단어는 헬라어 “테크논” 에서 왔습니다, 그것은 주로 부모님들에게서 태어난 아들을 가리킵니다. 우리는 하나님의 아들들입니다 왜냐하면 우리는 하나님에게서 태어났기 때문입니다. 세상은 이것을 깨닫지 못할지도 모릅니다, 그러나 그렇더라도 그것은 진짜입니다. 그것이 바로, “...그런즉 세상이 우리를 알지 못함은 세상이 그분을 알지 못하였기 때문이라” (요한일서 3:1) 고 말씀하는 이유입니다.
세상은 예수님께서 오셨을 때 그분을 알아보지 못 했습니다, 사람들은 그분이 평범한 사람이었다고 생각했습니다. 성경은 예수님께서 하나님으로부터 태어나셨다 (사도행전 13:33)고 말씀합니다, 야고보서 1:18에서 보이는 것처럼 우리에게도 마찬가지입니다. 그 구절은 말씀합니다, “그분께서 자신의 뜻에 따라 진리의 말씀으로 우리를 낳으셨으니 이것은 우리가 그분의 창조물 중의 첫 열매 종류가 되게 하려 하심이라.”
비록 우리의 외적 모습이 이것을 보이지 않을지라도 우리는 지금 하나님의 아들들입니다. 그러나 사도 요한이 요한일서 3:2의 마무리하는 부분에서 그것을 요약한 방법을 나는 사랑합니다. 그가 말씀했습니다, “사랑하는 자들아, 이제 우리는 하나님의 아들들이니라. 우리가 앞으로 어떻게 될지는 아직 나타나지 아니하였으되 그분께서 나타나시면 우리가 그분과 같게 될 줄 아노니 이는 우리가 그분을 그분께서 계신 그대로 볼 것이기 때문이라.”
주님께서 교회의 휴거 때에 나타나실 때, 우리는 외적으로 그분처럼 될 것입니다. 그러나 이미, 우리는 하나님의 아들들입니다 그리고 우리는 우리 안에 그분의 생명을 가집니다. 당신의 세상적인 출생에 따라 당신 자신을 보거나 서술하기를 거절하십시오, 왜냐하면 당신의 영에 있어, 당신은 예수님과 같기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!

WHO YOU ARE NOW
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not (1 John 3:1).
The word “sons” in our opening verse is from the Greek “teknon,” which primarily refers to one born of parents. We’re the sons of God because we’re born of God. The world may not recognize this, but it’s true nonetheless. That’s why it says, “…therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not” (1 John 3:1).
The world didn’t recognize Jesus when He came; the people thought He was an ordinary man. The Bible says Jesus was begotten of God (Acts 13:33); the same is true of us as seen in James 1:18. It says, “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.”
We’re sons of God now even though our outward appearance doesn’t show this. But I love how the apostle John sums it up in the concluding part of 1 John 3:2. He said, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”
When the Lord appears at the Rapture of the Church, we shall be like Him outwardly. But already, we’re sons of God and we have His life in us. Refuse to see or describe yourself according to your earthly nativity, because in your spirit, you’re like Jesus. Hallelujah!
God has given us the divine nature in Christ Jesus, so now, as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Once you understand this, you’ll realize you’re not living the human life. You’re not ordinary; you don’t belong in this world. You’re in God’s class, born of His Word and Spirit with this transcendent life. Glory to God!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the great love you’ve bestowed upon me in Christ Jesus. You’ve made me a partaker of the divine nature. I’m uninfectable, impregnable and full of life; I live victoriously to your glory and praise, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
