당신의 영에 그분의 성품을 세우는 것
BUILDING HIS CHARACTER INTO YOUR SPIRIT
진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 누구든지 이 산에게 이르기를, 옮겨져서 바다에 빠지라, 하며 마음속으로 의심하지 아니하고 자기가 말하는 그것들이 이루어질 줄 믿으면 그가 무엇을 말하든지 다 받으리라 (마가복음 11:23).
어떤 사람들은 하나님의 말씀을 확언하는 것에 대한 우리의 목적을 오해합니다. 예를 들어, 당신이 그들에게 말할 때, “나는 그리스도 예수님 안에서 하나님의 의입니다” 라고 말하면, 그들은 우리가 죄인들을 마치 그들이 성도들인 것처럼 말하려고 애쓰고 있다고 생각합니다. 아닙니다! 우리는 우리가 말하고 있는 그것이 되려고 우리가 “애쓰고” 있기 때문에 그러한 선포들을 하고 있는 것이 아닙니다, 그보다, 우리는 영적 진리를 말하고 있는 것입니다.
우리의 고백들은 하나님께서 이미 그분의 말씀에 있는 우리에 관하여 말씀하셨던 것에 근거합니다. 그분은 그분이 말씀하셨던 것은 무엇이든지 우리가 그분에게 동의함으로 동일한 것을 담대하게 말하게 하셨다고 말씀하셨습니다. 그것은 영적 법칙입니다, 히브리서 13:5-6은, “...그분께서 이르시되...그러므로 우리가 담대히 말하되...” 라고 합니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 나에게 말씀을, 나의 영에 당신의 성품을 세우기 위한 재료를 주셔서 감사드립니다. 나의 믿음 충만한 말씀의 고백들을 통해 계속 이어지는 승리의 삶의 방식을 나에게 보여주셔서 감사드립니다! 나는 삶의 모든 부정적인 것들을 능가하여 승리를 거두며 군림합니다, 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BUILDING HIS CHARACTER INTO YOUR SPIRIT
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith (Mark 11:23).
Some people misunderstand our purpose for affirming God’s Word. When you tell them, for example, to say, “I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus”; they think we’re trying to make sinners talk as though they are saints. No! We’re not making such declarations because we’re “trying” to be what we’re saying; rather, we’re stating spiritual truth.
Our confessions are based on what God already said about us in His Word. He said whatever He said so that we may boldly say the same thing in agreement with Him. It’s a spiritual law: Hebrews 13:5-6, “… for he hath said… So that we may boldly say….”
Understand how this works: The Word of God is God’s material for building Himself and His character into your spirit. First, we receive His nature at the New Birth, but you still have your character, and because of that some people are at a loss as to how to reconcile the realities of the new creation life with their own character.
But that’s why the Bible tells us to renew our minds with the Word of God; you meditate on the Word. But first, you have to hear the Word, accept and endorse it, and then confess it. When you confess the Word of God, you create the character of God in your spirit so that you think like Him.
God gave us the written Word for us to think upon. He knows that if you think the Word, you’ll talk the Word, and if you talk the Word, you’ll walk the Word! That’s the principle of the Kingdom. You’re what you say. Therefore, keep confessing the Word of God and thus build His character into your spirit.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me the Word, the material for building your character into my spirit. Thank you for showing me the way to a life of continuous victory through my faith-filled confessions of the Word! I reign triumphantly over all the negativities of life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
