고전 16:13-14 너희는 깨어 믿음에 굳게 서서 남자답게 행동하며 강건한 자가 되라.
너희의 모든 일을 사랑으로 행하라.
본문
하나님께서는 당신이 믿음의 행보에서 흔들리지 않기를 바라십니다. 왜냐하면 당신이 포기하지 않는다면 적절한 때에 수확을 거둘 수 있기 때문입니다. 하나님의 자녀로서 당신 안에는 그분이 주신 특별한 능력이 있습니다.
당신은 지금 직면하고 있는 도전, 핍박, 시험, 시련 때문에 주님께서 여러분에게 맡기신 일을 계속해야 할지 확신이 서지 않는 삶의 단계에 있을 수 있습니다. 하지만 저는 오늘 당신이 포기하지 말고 집중을 유지하기를 바랍니다.
성경에 따르면, 역경의 날에 포기하는 것은 당신의 힘이 작은 것입니다(잠언 24:10). 그러나 주님 자신이 당신의 힘이시기 때문에 당신의 힘은 작지 않습니다. 고난의 날에 포기한다는 것은 주님보다 자신을 더 신뢰한다는 뜻입니다. 고린도후서 3장 5절(확대번역)은 “우리의 힘과 능력과 충분함은 우리 스스로가 스스로 판단하거나, 우리에게서 나온다고 주장하거나 계산할 수 있는 것이 아니라 하나님께로부터 온 것”임을 알려줍니다. 그분이 당신의 능력이시니 그분이 당신을 끝까지 지켜보실 것을 믿으세요. 사도 바울을 통해, 하나님의 영께서 당신의 속사람 안에 계신 성령님에 의해 당신이 기적을 행하는 능력으로 강건해지기를 기도하시는 것은 당연합니다. (엡3:16) 당신은 말씀을 공부하고 성령 안에서 기도함(방언)으로써 그렇게 할 수 있 습니다.
정기적으로 방언을 말하는 것 외에도 말씀을 공부하고 묵상하는 데 시간을 할애하면 영이 기적을 행하는 능력으로 활력을 얻게 됩니다. 갑자기 온 세상이 작게 느껴지고 정말 불가능한 것은 아무것도 없다는 것을 알게 됩니다. 속사람이 신성한 능력으로 강화되면 설득되지 않을 수 없을 정도로 확신을 갖게 됩니다. 그 대신 아브라함처럼 믿음이 강하고 하나님께 영광을 돌리게 됩니다.

(Maintain Your Focus And Don’t Give Up)
TO THE BIBLE
1 Corinthians 16:13-14
“Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you
do be done with love.”
LET’S TALK
od wants you to be unwavering in your walk of faith,
because, at the right time, you’ll reap a harvest if
you don’t give up. As a child of God, there are unique abilities
He has placed within you. You might be at a stage in your life
where you’re not sure whether you should continue doing
the things the Lord has committed to you because of the
challenges, persecutions, tests, and trials you’re facing. But I
encourage you today to maintain your focus and not give up.
The Bible says that if you give up in the day of adversity,
then your strength is small (Proverbs 24:10). But your strength
isn’t small, because the Lord Himself is your strength. To give
up in the day of trouble means you trusted in yourself rather
than in the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:5 lets us know that it’s “not
that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves
to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as
coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are
from God” (AMPC). Trust Him to see you through; He’s your
ability. No wonder the Spirit of God, through the Apostle Paul,
prays that you be strengthened with miracle-working ability
by the Spirit in your inner man. You do that by studying the
Word and praying in the Holy Ghost.
When you spend time studying and meditating on the Word, in addition to speaking in tongues regularly, your spirit
is energised with miracle-working ability. Suddenly, the whole
world becomes small to you, and you see that, really, nothing
is impossible to you. When you’re strengthened with divine
enablement in your inner man, you become too persuaded
to be dissuaded. Instead, you become like Abraham, strong in
faith and giving glory to God.

Pray
Dear Father, thank you for the inspiration and assurance that
comes from your Word. Your grace is sufficient for me in all
things, and I’m fully persuaded that my sufficiency is of you.
Thank you for setting me on the course of eternal success; I
triumph gloriously today and always, by your Spirit, in Jesus’
Name. Amen.
